Our client is a highly successful, multi-site accountancy firm based in Mid Kent. They are currently recruiting for a Personal Tax Semi-Senior to join their established team to effectively manage and carry out the production of personal tax services providing support and preparation of returns and computations for Managers and Partners.
Responsibilities include:
-Requesting information from the client or audit team and work through this information and assess the tax impact of each piece of information
-Prepare and generate tax returns using tax software
-Liaise with HMRC on clients` behalf
-Inform clients of tax liabilities; agree on these to HMRC statement on account
-Prepare HMRC forms as appropriate and ensure all deadlines are met
-Assist on consultancy projects, identify tax planning opportunities and carry out research projects where required
The ideal candidate would preferably be studying towards your ATT or ATT qualified, with varied, practical, and technical tax knowledge. You must be a team player and support and mentor junior members of staff and possess excellent communication skills as well as client focus.
