We are working with out client to recruit 2 Sales Representatives for their site in Thurrock Essex.

You will be working for a Fire Proofing company sellling Intumescent materials for the building industry.  No product knowledge is required, however, you must have worked in the Construction Industry and know something about building and contruction.  Head office is based in Derbyshire and you may be required to attend meetings there maybe once a month.

Requirements:

* A strong Sales Background

*Driving Licence and own car (an allowance is given)

*Area to cover: Essex, Kent, London and the Home Counties

Job role:

You will be working with the Depot Manager to identify new and exsiting customers, upselling and winning new business.  This role will require you to meet with site managers and to advise on the products needed.  90% of your customers will be new builds and 10% will be refurbishment work.  You will be initially given a car allowance together with a company credit card for your expenses.  Further along the line, you will be given a company car to go and meet with potential new clients.

Knowledge of the products is not essential but as mentioned experience of working in Construction is a neccessity.

Salary and Commission:

You will have a basic salary of between £35K and £50K PA based on experience together with a great commission structure and a yearly bonus which could be anything from £1,500 and £12,000 based on your individual sales record.  You will be entitled to 25 days holiday per year together with all the other usual benefits such as pension scheme etc.

Conditions of work:

* You will be working on a hybrid system and will not be expected to come into the office everyday.  However normal office hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday but you will have the freedom to work from home if required.
