Are you passionate about supporting people with Learning Disabilities? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
Our Kent Learning Disabilities Service is currently looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly dynamic team in Tonbridge.
Who we are
Clarion is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to build a career working for the UK's largest housing associations. Clarion delivers support services to some of the most vulnerable people in society. Our work is recognising and respecting each service user as an individual who has abilities, ideas, responsibilities, wishes, hopes and feelings.
What we're looking for
We welcome candidates with experience in the housing and support sector. However, we're also looking for people who may not have this experience but have the qualities and skills we feel would most benefit our customers; professionalism, empathy and understanding, life experience and a desire to develop their own knowledge and skills to best support our customers.
You'll support and key work service users to achieve individual goals as set out in each service user's Person Centred Support Plan. Working for Clarion as part of the Kent team you'll be delivering exceptional support services to our customers.
Experience isn't always necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you're likely to be a great fit. A full training package will be provided to new members of our team to help them develop the skills to become a great support worker.
If you're a confident, warm and friendly person, with a passion to support people, who can be flexible and adapt to different situations, we would like you to join our team. This is a genuinely rewarding role where no two days are the same.
You must be able to work day shifts, evenings and sleep-ins on a rota basis.
What's in it for you?
* Competitive salary
* 25 Days annual leave (plus bank holiday), increasing to 30 days after 3 years' service
* An opportunity to be a part of a friendly, successful team
* A great working environment
* Excellent support and encouragement to fulfil your role
Our commitment to equality and diversity means that we are keen to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance, including but not limited to enhanced maternity, adoption and paternity leave, and compassionate leave.
