Clarion Housing Group is the country's largest housing association with 125,000 homes nationwide. We're a social landlord, providing affordable homes for those who need them most.

Our development arm (Latimer) builds thousands of new homes each year across the country whilst our charitable foundation, Clarion Futures, works with charities, social enterprises and other organisations to provide employment support and apprenticeship opportunities to residents, as well as money management advice and help getting online.

If you've ever thought about working in the dynamic housing and charity sectors then this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!

We're looking for an adaptable and motivated Senior Finance Business Partner to join our inspirational and ambitious organisation working with Clarion Futures and Corporate Affairs.

Clarion Futures is our charitable foundation. We work together with partners to make a positive difference to the lives of people living in Clarion homes and communities.

Our work is centred on providing our residents with the tools and support to help overcome any challenges they face. Every year we support thousands of people into work and provide people with help in managing money, gaining and developing digital skills and contributing to the life of their communities.

We're a partner of choice for organisations ranging from FTSE companies and government departments to local charities and social enterprises. With more than 350,000 residents, our size and reach gives us a presence that few other charities can match.

In 2021/22, we invested £16.3 million into our work with residents and communities, generating more than £123m in social value, making the work of Clarion Futures one of the biggest social investment programmes in the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills to provide business partnering support to our Group.

What will I be doing?

As a business partner within the Clarion Futures and Corporate Affairs Directorates, your role will be the 'strategic face of finance', pro-active and engaged with all levels of management. You'll be working with a range of budget holders to help them better understand their finances and make improvements to processes and reporting. You'll be a strategic advisor to the leadership team to help support, challenge and evaluate decisions, with the aim of fully understanding your directorates financial and operational performance, whilst fostering a culture of financial accountability, cost efficiency and value for money.

Building and maintaining professional and positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the directorates along with all areas of Finance is a huge part of this role. You'll be working collaboratively to improve the accuracy of Clarion's forecasting and budgeting whilst ensuring that funds are effectively tracked and reported in Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI.

What are we looking for?

*

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an accurate, detailed and logical approach to work

If you have strong business partnering experience with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure whilst managing expectations from multiple stakeholders, then we want to hear from you!
