Senior Systems Engineer

Our global leading client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating cutting-edge technologies for propulsion systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work and contribute to the development of next-generation automotive solutions.
Duties include:
• Lead the design and development of complex systems and subsystems for propulsion systems, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces.
• Conduct system-level analysis, simulations, and testing to verify performance, functionality, and reliability of the systems.
• Perform system integration activities, including hardware and software integration, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in automotive technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have / be:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience working in systems engineering for propulsion systems or similar complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, system architecture, integration, and validation.
• Proficiency in system-level modelling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, SysML, etc.).
• Experience with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and automotive development processes (ASPICE).
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering concepts.
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
