An award winning, internet service provider in the telecoms industry for more than 25 years are looking to expand their team with a Partner Account Manager to lead on strategy and grow their partner function. This role plays a crucial part in managing and nurturing relationships with strategic partners across the managed service provider sector. The Partner Account Manager will work to drive mutual success, expand the businesses reach within the markets, and ensure clients receive innovative, resilient, and viable telecommunications services.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner relationship management, building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with key partners, including channel, resellers and distributors.
- Helping to build a strategy to expand partner network through likeminded businesses that value their solutions-based approach.
- Partner needs assessment, through collaboration with their end users to understand business goals and challenges and transforming these into technology-based solutions.
- Commercial account development, strategically managing partner accounts, identifying growth opportunities and developing plans to expand the partnership.
- Product knowledge, possess an understanding of the product and service offerings and effectively communicate the value to partners. Escalations to solutions architecture, developing tailored solutions that align customer objectives, budgets and constraints, detailing any assumptions.
- Sales support, collaborate with partners to develop and execute technical pre-sales support, joint sales and marketing strategies.
- Training and enablement, provide sales focused training and support to partners to ensure they have the knowledge and tools needed to sell solutions effectively where appropriate it.
- Reporting and analysis, monitor partner performance, track sales metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Conflict resolution, address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise with partners, ensuring a positive and productive working relationship.
- Proposal development, creating comprehensive and compelling proposal, which may include technical specifications, pricing and potential implementation timelines.
- Understand the market position, including key Partners, their customers and competitors, using market intelligence to provide input into key strategic management information.
- Engage with product development, recommending products and services to meet partner requirements and develop business.
- Interface cross teams, articulating customer requirement ensuring smooth transition from through delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in partner management, account management, or business development within the telecoms sector.
- Track record of preparing solutions and costs to meet customer expectations within budgets.
- Knowledge of telecom technologies, including Wireless, Broadband, VoIP, Cloud services, and Network infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for clients.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and clients.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- UK driver`s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
