As a Powder Coating Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the powder coating operations during your assigned shift. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising Powder Coating Operations: You will lead a team of powder coating operatives, ensuring they follow safety protocols and adhere to quality standards.

• Coordinating Production: You will be responsible for coordinating the production process, ensuring that production targets and deadlines are met. Your ability to manage resources and prioritize tasks will be crucial in achieving maximum productivity.

• Ensuring Quality Control: You will monitor the quality of the finished products, conducting regular inspections and taking corrective actions when necessary. Your attention to detail is essential and maintaining high-quality standards is essential.

• Training and Development: You will provide guidance, support, and training to the powder coating operatives, helping them improve their skills and performance.

• Equipment Maintenance: You will work closely with maintenance personnel to ensure that the powder coating equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.

• Health and Safety: You will enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment.

• Communication and Reporting: You will communicate with the production team to ensure smooth operations and targets are being met.

Experience within a powder coating environment is essential with the technical knowledge in powder coating processes and equipment. Must have excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills and have the ability to motivate a team of operatives.

Must be flexible with hours of work. This role is on a shift pattern of 8 hour shifts on a rotating shift pattern Monday - Friday.
Weekend work available.
