We have an urgent requirement for an experience Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on an initial 3 month temporary basis for our Manufacturing client based in Swale.
You will be part of a small Maintenance / Quality team covering mechanical maintenance activities. This role will cover site plant, equipment, preventative maintenance and breakdowns including some janitorial roles and building upkeep.
As part of the role you will be co-ordinating/ overseeing subcontractors ensuring they comply with the clients subcontractor's safety requirements. You will identify spare parts required and raise requisition through the SAP system as well as look after the maintenance software system Parana.
You will need recognised trade qualifications as well as extensive experience in a similar role. You must be IT literate and ideally have a working knowledge of SAP, however this can be trained. You will be a good communicator and a self-motivated individual.
The hours of work are on a rotating shift basis of 05.30 - 13.30 and 09.30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday
