The Role

As an MIS Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for supporting and planning MIS operations, technology, and services. The handling of level 2 requests and incidents, assigned to the operational maintenance (MOC) to supervise our infrastructure and to automate and optimise our processes. Responsible for the implementation, supervision and maintenance of various applications, platforms and websites.

Principal Accountabilities

• To support the current team of Operations Supervisors in handling Level 2 requests and incidents.
• Participate in the drafting of deliverables: enrichment of tickets, technical architecture documents, technical operating documents and drawings.
• To ensure the implementation of monitoring and the supervision of environments.
• Participate in the various business projects to anticipate communication with the production teams, prepare their arrival in production and set up monitoring.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate actions and schedule them through Rundeck.
• Setup and maintain applications and supervision in Microsoft Azure.
• Administration and monitoring of websites under IIS, Microsoft SQL Server.
• Implementation and supervision of platforms under Nagios, Dynatrace and Azure Monitoring.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster to support the critical business systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in IT.
• Demonstrate experience as an MIS Operations Supervisor.
• Knowledge of the following technologies would be an advantage: Windows Server, SQL Server, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper V), Scheduler, Insight, Nagios, Windows, Linux/CentOS, Azure, Pack Office, Terraform.
• Ability to communicate in French is a distinct advantage, or willingness to learn.

Technical Competence:

• Knowledge of PowerShell script language and Rundeck scheduler.
• Microsoft product skills: Windows server, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, AD Connect, VMWare, Checkpoint flow management skills.
• Knowledge of Azure Public Cloud (Azure API Management, Firewall, Azure Front Door and VPN Gateway).
• A good knowledge of virtualization solutions (VMWare).
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and EasyVista environment.
• Scripting: PowerShell, ARM Template.
