We are currently recruiting for a Goods In Co-Ordinator Role. The ideal candidate will have a very good attention to detail, be driven and a good business acumen with experience in freight and logistics. Would suit an individual with strong negotiating skills, confident and ability to quickly build report with internal and external stakeholders. Would suit someone with previous job history in procurement and supply chain.
Duties will include:
· Quality checking all goods-in paperwork.
· Entering delivery dates from sales acknowledgements
· Chasing suppliers for orders with no delivery dates/that are late for delivery.
· Liaising with far east suppliers for goods ready dates.
· Booking, organising, and liaising with freight forwarders to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
· Negotiating with freight forwarders/couriers to agree prices, delivery schedules and delivery details.
· Expediting orders where necessary.
· Booking collections from suppliers where necessary.
· Getting goods in on time for the lowest possible cost.
· Working with warehouse team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders.
· Delivering reports on supplier performance and other metrics to the senior management team and other stakeholders.
· Solve supply chain problems.
