European Marketing Executive (German Speaking)

£30,000pa + 20 days holiday increasing by one day for each year of service to a maximum of 25 day, discretionary annual bonus, 5% employer pension contribution, private medical scheme.
Full-time permanent, Monday to Friday

Our client has been operational for over 40 years providing high quality services and products to a range of prestigious clients across the globe. They have a number of interesting projects in the pipeline and continue to set plans for future growth.

Initially responsible for helping centralise the marketing function from a number of individual entities across Europe. You will then support and drive the business through these digital channels.

Role and Responsibilities of the European Marketing Executive;

* To support the delivery of all external communications activity across key European markets
* To help with the management of the various marketing communication agencies
* To work with local and global teams to adapt and update the business websites in various markets
* To update existing and deliver new local language online shops in various markets
* Work with relevant agencies to ensure that the European websites function as designed, and alert them to any issues or errors
* Update and refresh the content on the European websites as required
* To assist in the development, translation and implementation of communication materials for European markets, including, social media content/blogs, E mail campaigns, Website content, Press ads, Case studies/ testimonials, Marketing literature, PR assets and media releases, Copy relating to sponsorships and partnerships, White papers and teaching materials
* Liaise with sales colleagues in local offices to help collate relevant material for use in
European email campaigns
* Design and create email campaigns in Salesforce Account Engagement
* Compile and analyse reports on email campaigns using Salesforce
* Manage relationships with local magazines and advertising partners to deliver high quality advertisement campaigns
* General translation / copywriting for website, product specification sheets, brochures and white papers


Candidate Profile

* Must be a German native speaker and fluent in English
* Other European languages, especially French, would be an advantage
* Skilled written and oral communicator with a talent for writing in a compelling way
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proven experience in marketing communications, ideally in Europe
* Experience in various communication channels including social media, email and web
* Competent in database marketing, CMS and CRM platforms with a working knowledge of WordPress, Salesforce and Google Analytics
