Your new company

Hays Education are working with an Outstanding SEN school in Sittingbourne, Kent, to recruit a primary SEN Teacher for a full class teacher role. The school caters for pupils aged 4-18 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, and provides a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

Your new role

As a primary SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs and abilities of your pupils. You will also work closely with other staff members, parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for your pupils.This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role starts on 19th February 2024 and requires a full-time commitment.



What you'll need to succeed

- QTS teaching qualification

- Experience teaching pupils with SEN, preferably in a specialist setting

- Knowledge of the primary curriculum and SEN strategies

- A positive and flexible attitude

- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
