We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join a motivated administration team that delivers outstanding customer service to a variety of visitors and staff.
Based in a medical setting you will be required to welcome visitors, filter & direct calls and assist with daily reception administration.
Duties covered:
* Meet & greet clients in a friendly and professional manner.
* Answer, screen and direct calls along with taking accurate messages.
* Handle enquiries and assist with complaints
* Admin support; send appointment letters and emails, requesting results, department liaison
Skills required:
* Previous customer service experience ideally in a reception capacity.
* Knowledge/experience in a healthcare/medical environment would be desirable.
* Experience of booking appointments.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Team player who can prioritise workload.
This role is based in Ashford with a requirement to travel to Canterbury as and when needed.
This is a full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week. There is a requirement to work at weekends on a rota basis for which there is an enhancement on the hourly pay rate for any weekend working.
Starting on a temporary basis, this position has the prospect of becoming a permanent contract after successful completion of a trial period.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
