Finance Analyst | Hybrid – Dartford | £55k - £60k + Bonus

This role as Finance Analyst will be part of a Global organisation who continue to grow. This organisation has an enviable reputation for having an outstanding culture, resulting in incredibly low staff turnover and very few opportunities to join the finance team. With flexible hybrid working options available.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for the forecasting, budgeting, analytical business activities, financial planning and analysis, and finance projects.

Responsibilities:
• To review monthly accounting data against budget and prior year data, identifying and investigating material deviations and highlighting areas of concern for appropriate further investigation and action.
• To coordinate, control and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts (Latest Estimates) in line with the global reporting schedule.
• To support periodic cost control and forecast/ budgetary planning.
• To facilitate the “Finance Road Map” by helping to deliver process improvement.
• Evaluating the impact of currency on corporate performance and presenting Management Accounts in constant currency format.
• To support the enhancement of the format and presentation of all Financial Reports and Management Accounts, to ensure that they are appropriately and accurately presented.
• To identify and implement profit enhancing/cost reducing opportunities across the
• Group as part of their continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the Financial Director to deliver against the global objectives.
• To ensure global cash forecasting requirements are met.
• Finance Projects - Running and participating in the implementation of regional and global projects, accelerating the Finance team in achieving its objectives.
• Promote continuous improvement within the department and provide support to other departments in improvement activities.
• To optimise and maintain procedures and systems using software and other resources in order to optimise performance.
• To assist with enhancing and maintaining systems of internal control.
• To represent the Finance in relevant meetings as requested from time to time.

What you need:-
• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
• Recent experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or similar position
• Must be able to work in a logical and methodical manner and work accurately with an eye for detail while also being able to see the bigger picture.
• Must have exceptional analytical skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Advanced level of spreadsheet skills in Excel.
