The Role

The role of the TCS Technician is to be competent in tunnel and terminal systems and their procedures, which are essential in supporting Eurotunnel’s cross-channel service. The TCS Technician is the first line response on a 24-hour basis, delivering optimum services to various areas on-site.

Responsible for carrying out planned, corrective maintenance of equipment in accordance with maintenance instructions, schedules and diagnostic procedures, ensuring equipment is returned to service in a timely manner. You will participate in the preparation of equipment for service, including the inspections and testing required to meet customer needs.

As part of the role, you will be required to become qualified in the use of all relevant telecommunications.

Qualifications and Experience
· Previous work experience in telecommunication or an electronics role is essential.
· You must have a HNC / HND / NVQ or equivalent in telecommunications/electronics, together with a minimum of two years’ work experience.
· A BTEC / C&G qualification or equivalent, in a technical discipline may be considered with a minimum of five years relevant work experience.
· The ability to communicate in French and/or another European language, would be a distinct advantage.
· A full Driving Licence and Passport is essential.
