We're delighted to be assisting our highly-respected client in their search for a full-time permanent HR Manager. You must be a driver with your own vehicle, as there is a requirement to visit other sites around Kent and Essex (mileage will be paid).
There is a good salary on offer with benefits to include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a statutory pension scheme, free parking etc
You will report directly to the Managing Director. This is a stand alone role. Your main responsibilities will be around workforce & organisational development, employee relations, coaching & development, staff engagement & wellbeing, line management, as well as a number of general duties and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* CIPD Level 5 qualified is preferred.
* Minimum 5 years' HR management experience, ideally from within a similar manufacturing or transferable background.
* Experience in a standalone HR generalist role.
* Solid demonstrable understanding of employment law.
* Excellent communication skills - able to adapt approach to all levels.
* Able to complete all aspects of HR administration to desired standards.
* Must be able to work on own initiative. Prioritise own workload and be flexible with urgent jobs as well as general daily tasks.
* Strong commercial focus.
* Experience of cultural change strategy.
* Professional approach that champions the Company values
