The Best Connection are recruiting for a Yard Supervisor for their client a new start up operation based in Hoo, Strood.
Location: Kingsnorth, Hoo Strood
Salary: £14 per hour
Days: Monday to Friday
Shifts: Split Shifts AM: 07:00 till 11:00 / PM 16:00 till 18:00/19:00 depending on last returning driver
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day to day running of the vehicle yard operations within the complex based in Hoo. This is a role suitable to someone who is used to working the majority of their time outdoors, in all conditions and has a proven track record in staff organisation and adaptability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
All day to day operations within the yard
Consolidation of loads and scanning items using Ipad on in-house system
Ensuring all vehicles loads are prepared and ready for dispatch
Loading trailers with goods and use of PPT
Charging of electric vehicle fleet - Tesla
Movement of vehicles in the yard
Liaising with departmental managers on any issues
Ensuring site is well maintained and presentable
Key holder
The successful candidate should have the following skills and attributes:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Hard working and well organised
Full clean driving licence
Flexible attitude to working hours
Excellent team player
Experience in supervisory role.
IT skills
