The Best Connection are currently Seeking a Goods In Operative / General handy person to work for our highly prestigious client in the Orpington area.
This is a Temp to Perm Position
Monday to Friday
40 Hours per week 8:00am-4:30pm
£13.00 Per hour
Duties will include
Booking in / checking goods in using our MRP system - (Full training will be given)
Organising materials and parts in the goods inwards department.
Operating automatic saw and general stores machinery to prepare materials for work (Full training will be given)
Helping with packing and dispatch when needed.
Changing workshop metal bins and keeping goods in area clean, tidy and well organised.
Forklift experience advantageous.
Personal Requirements:
Enjoy practical work.
Have good eyesight & good level of physical fitness.
Good memory and organisational skills.
Able to cope with the physical demands of the job.
Safety-conscious.
Have pride in the workplace.
A simple understanding of computers (full training on bespoke packages will be given).
Have a good attitude towards work and must be able to work on own initiative and also be part of a team.
