The Role

To be part of a team, consisting of highly skilled, autonomous, and competent M&E technicians, assisting in the preventive and corrective maintenance of all electromechanical equipment / systems of Eurotunnel’s infrastructure and terminal buildings. Carrying out all training duties required, and continuously support all colleagues within the M&E department.

Principal Accountabilities / Qualifications and Experience

• To interface with Railway Control Centre (RCC), Traffic Control Centre (TCC), and Maintenance Control Centre (MCC), on the operation of the electromechanical equipment.
• Be aware of Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (M.O.R) and take the necessary corrective action to prevent breaching.
• To complete all the necessary administrative shift reports and documentation.
• Participate in the organisation and planning of the maintenance as and when required.
• Gained an electrical or mechanical qualification to ONC level or post apprenticeship with proven demonstratable work experience in a technical environment.
• Previous experience of working in a Mechanical & Electrical environment is essential.
• Experience in industrial automated Mechanical and Electrical equipment and maintenance.
• Experience in industrial maintenance.
• A valid Driving Licence and Passport are essential.
• The ability to communicate in French and/or another European language would be an advantage.
