The Best Connection are currently recruiting Catering assistants / cooks to join a small, friendly but busy team at our busy client based in Longfield.

Our clients are a Sport and Country club .

The ideal candidate would be expected to work some evenings and weekends on a rota covering hours:

-Monday – Sunday between 11:00hrs-22:00hrs
-AM shift – 11:00hrs - 15:00hrs
-PM Shift – 18.00hrs - 22.00hrs /Close
-Rotas are produced on a 3 weekly basis.

Full Time/Part Time/Flexible Working positions available and a job share would also be considered

Pay rate is £12 per hour.

Duties:

-Prepping food for service,
-Making sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes and other bar foods
-Cooking and creating dishes for the menus (training will be given)
-Support front of house serving and clearing tables
-Working alongside the cook to prep for buffets and functions
-Ensuring the food prep areas are clean and tidy at all times

Desirable Skills and Experience:

-Experience working in a pub, School Canteen, Care home or similar environment would be advantageous but not essential
-Willingness to learn as training can be given for the right person
-Hardworking, reliable, a good attitude to work and able to work effectively as part of a friendly team
-Courteous to colleagues and customers at all times
