Job description
We are an established manufacturer of tooling based in Benenden with a global client base supplying a multitude of industries. We are expanding our moulding department and have a vacancy for a press operator and moulder. You will be responsible for filling moulds and applying heat and pressure, then cooling and releasing the moulds to produce each part.
The work pieces are bespoke and not mass produced therefore this role offers variety and diversity in shape, size and complexity.
You will need to have good concentration, basic maths and be able to maintain a neat and tidy workspace. No previous experience is required however the successful applicant will be capable of heavy lifting and looking for a long-term commitment to a new career. This role is hands on and requires methodical, independent thinking.
The successful applicant will receive training in a broad range of skills within the department and become an important addition to the existing team. This role needs to be filled as soon as possible.
The hours are 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday with the possibility of some overtime paid at time and a half. The hourly rate will be reviewed after a 3 month probation period.
