We are looking for an experienced Secretary (or Legal Secretary), from a legal background, to join a leading Solicitors in the Dover area. You will be working in the Conveyancing department liaising with clients via telephone and email, while providing secretarial support to the Fee Earners. The position is full time and permanent, a 37.5 hour week (830am-5pm Monday-Friday - one hour for lunch). Your responsibilities include:
* Preparing correspondence for client files and undertaking audio typing
* Filing and archiving
* Email management
* Co-ordinate and process outgoing post
* Arrange meetings and maintain diaries
* Updating individual files using a CRM system
* Ensure confidentiality and security of all practice and client documentation.
Required Skills:
* Secretarial experience within a legal company
* Good telephone skills
* Confidentiality
* Good time management and organisation skills
* Audio typing skills together with appropriate administrative skills
* Attention to detail
