We have a 6-month fixed term contract role with a leading provider of corporate and commercial insurance cover across a range of different classes - property, aviation, marine, engineering, finpro.
Our client is looking for an experienced London Market technician to support the accurate and timely processing of risk underwritten on a fac.reinsurance basis and outwards reinsurance.
* Support and review processing undertaken by an offshore team.
* Understand IPT tax and calculate for different territories.
* Liaise with Brokers and Co-insureds to resolve queries related to receipt of Bordereaux, Invoices and Fee processing.
* Liaise with Brokers to resolve unclosed risks and chase and outstanding business.
* Work closely with Credit control & Operations team to assure consistent data quality and fast clearance of premium.
* Support the processing of Outwards Re-insurance and retro business for Proportional and non-proportional re-insurance with some Treaty elements.
What you need to know
* Candidates must be able to show a track record of technical processing within a London Market environment.
* Salary to £40,000 p.a. pro rata
