The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an Cold Store Picker for a busy client of ours based in Whitstable.
The cold store runs at -20 degrees centigrade but don’t worry, protective clothing designed to deal with this temperature will be provided by the client.
Some experience working in cold temperatures would be preferred but will accept people who have fantastic warehouse/picking experience.
You will be reporting to the Driver Supervisor and Senior Freezer Operative, you are responsible for helping to pack customers frozen orders ready for dispatch. You will need to work quick but efficiently to make sure the job is done correctly.
Requirements:
You’ll be someone confident, motivated, and willing to learn on the job.
You must be happy to be working at -20 degrees centigrade.
Own transport is ideal but not essential
Able to work Monday to Friday 7.00am- 3.00pm
Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
Picking orders ensuring zero mistakes are made
You will be responsible for ensuring customers orders are accurately picked and placed of the corresponding cage ready for the next morning.
