Trainee Baker - Paddock Wood, Kent
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Schedule: Full-time, daytime hours

Are you an enthusiastic and reliable individual with​ a passion for food who's looking to build a long-term career in a professional bakery environment? We are looking for a Trainee Baker to join a growing team in Paddock Wood, Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for baking to develop their skills and learn the craft from experienced bakers in a supportive and hands-on environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting with the preparation and baking of a wide range of breads and pastries
- Learning bakery processes, including mixing, shaping, proving, and baking
- Supporting the team in maintaining high food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Helping with stock rotation and ingredient handling
- Working closely with senior bakers to improve technique and speed

What We're Looking For:
- Some prior experience in a bakery or food production role
- A genuine interest in baking and a willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
