Buying Administrator – Friendly, Established Local Business in Sevenoaks
Are you looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive team where your experience and reliability will be truly valued?
A well-established and respected local business is seeking a Buying Administrator to join their friendly and collaborative team.
This is a varied and interesting position, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a relaxed environment and contributing to the smooth running of operations.
Key Duties:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support supply chain efficiency
Source and assess suppliers based on value, quality, and reliability
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless coordination
Stay informed on market trends to support smart purchasing decisions
The right person for this role:
Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role (beneficial, but not essential)
Good level of numeracy
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
A dependable, proactive attitude and a strong work ethic
Ideally based locally in or around Sevenoaks
