Reports to: Visitor Experience and Operations Manager, Visitor Operations Manager, Duty Managers

The Historic Dockyard Chatham, the best preserved of all Georgian dockyards, is the world’s most complete dockyard of the Age of Sail.  Today, The Historic Dockyard Chatham, is the leading example of a mixed-use heritage estate. Bring festive cheer to one of Kent’s most magical Christmas experiences!
We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Visitor Experience Team for Mission Christmas at The Historic Dockyard Chatham. You’ll help create an unforgettable festive atmosphere (in costume) bringing the story of Mission Christmas to life for visitors of all ages.  This seasonal role runs specifically for the Mission Christmas event dates (29th November – 24th December) with full training provided before the event season begins.
The role:
•	Deliver a warm and welcoming experience to every guest.
•	Support event operations from queue management and ticket checking to assisting visitors and maintaining festive displays.
•	Keep event spaces tidy, safe, and full of Christmas spirit.
•	Work closely with colleagues, volunteers, and partners to ensure everything runs smoothly.
About you:
•	Friendly, energetic, and proactive with a passion for great customer service.
•	Team player who can think on their feet and bring positivity to every shift.
•	Flexible availability throughout the festive season.
