Overview
A highly respected and well-established Chartered Accountancy firm in Maidstone is looking for a NEW Payroll & Bookkeeping Administrator to join their growing team! They pride themselves on offering a supportive environment, a dedication to client satisfaction, and a friendly workplace culture.

This role combines payroll administration with some bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients.

This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, with hybrid working options available.

Salary is up to £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties
Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients
Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and handle PAYE, NIC, and pension contributions
Prepare and submit RTI and pension reports
Maintain accurate payroll records and respond to client queries
Perform bookkeeping duties including bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and ledger management
Assist with preparation of management accounts where required
Liaise with clients to ensure timely receipt of payroll and bookkeeping information
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment

What we're looking for
A successful candidate will have proven UK accountancy practice experience in a similar role and live within a 45 minute commute.
