The HR Advisor will partner with and provide professional HR advice and support to managers and staff on a range of employment issues, fostering positive working relations. As HR Advisor, you'll provide comprehensive HR support across a wide range of areas, including:
ð¹ Advising managers on recruitment, employee relations, performance, sickness absence, terms & conditions, and organisational change
ð¹ Leading on ER casework with support from the HR Manager
ð¹ Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees
ð¹ Ensuring consistent application of policies, procedures, and employment legislation
ð¹ Producing workforce reports and analytics, and using data to improve workforce practices
ð¹ Supporting and leading on HR related projects (including TUPE), policy updates, and training delivery
ð¹ Coaching and developing line managers to build confidence in people management
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
â CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
â Strong operational HR experience, ideally in a complex or unionised environment
â Confident knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
â Excellent communication and relationship building skills
â Experience managing ER casework sensitively and professionally
â Strong organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
â Strong absence management experience
