Job description – Precision Engineer

We are a long established business based in Benenden, Kent supplying precision solutions for a range of applications.
Our UK and international clients require bespoke solutions that comply with complex engineering specifications in among other fields, aerospace, automotive & oil / gas production.

With a number of new projects in store for 2026 we are looking to build on our existing team with more experienced engineers as well as trainees and apprentices. We have a friendly work environment encouraging growth and development. Responsibilities:
- To inspect tools for accuracy against technical engineering drawings
- To modify finished forms if necessary to ensure full compliance to drawings with extremely tight tolerances
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure system functionality and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues

Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to analyse system requirements and identify control strategies
- A calm and patient approach to issues and their resolution
- Focus, concentration and attention to detail
- Familiarity with technical drawings
- Excellent skills from a tool making background
