Are you passionate about Building Services Engineering and have the practical skills and can-do attitude to support the next generation of engineers? We’re looking for a proactive Technician (Building Services Engineering) to join our Building Services team (Plumbing) at North Kent Colleges Group (Tonbridge College).
You’ll provide practical and technical support across our Plumbing and Electrical Installation working closely with lecturers to prepare sessions, maintain equipment and manage materials and stock.
You’ll also support demonstrations, maintain safe and organised workshops, assist with risk assessments and act as a safety observer during practical activities.
The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 2 competence qualification in plumbing, with relevant industry experience. You’ll have good health and safety knowledge, experience using power and machine tools, and strong communication, organisational and IT skills. Supervisory experience and A1 Assessor/V1 Verifier qualifications are desirable.
