On behalf of our client, a leading national distributor of screws, we are recruiting for a temporary Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team in Essex. This is a dual-role position where you will primarily work within the Goods-In & Stock Control teams operating a Counterbalance forklift, while also stepping in as a Van Driver for multi-drop deliveries across Essex, East London, South West London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and surrounding areas. Key Duties and responsibilities: * Multi-drop deliveries to trade customers * Conducting vehicle safety checks and reporting issues * Loading and unloading delivery vehicles * Using delivery apps and mobile devices for PODs and updates * Providing excellent customer service on delivery routes * Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (RTITB accredited) * Replenishing and rotating stock * Accurate checking in and out of deliveries * Maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient warehouse * Assisting with stock takes and inter-departmental stock movements * Manual handling and lifting boxes up to 25kg *

The Best Connection are currently working with a highly prestigious company based in Basildon who are seeking Warehouse operatives to support the Christmas peak period with additional support. Our Client are looking for operatives who are flexible to work across the week (Including weekends) Hours of Work Monday to Sunday 09:00 - 17:00pm - Workers will be expected to work 5 days out of 7 ays - Including weekends. Pay - £11.44 Per Hour Job Duties: Picking and Packing goods Scanning and labelling orders No heavy lifting Attention to detail Wrapping Skills and Experience: Excellent communication and Writing skills Must have experience working in a warehouse Positive attitude to work.
