We are currently seeking experienced temporary Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Purfleet. Duties will include unloading lorries, scanning and work in a fast paced environment. You may also be preparing stock for dispatch using hand held scanners and any other general warehouse duties, as required. Hours of work are 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, but can be subject to chan e. Overtime will be paid once your normal working week of 40 hours is achieved with excellent weekend rates of pay which is not compulsory. The Warehouse Operative position is to assist in the warehouse as required. Duties will include stickering/ de-stickering and picking and packing ready for dispatch. Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential. • The client will spend time training each individual into each position and therefore reliability is very important. • 2 x 30 minute breaks 1 is paid- total hours pay per day is 7.5 hrs.= 37.5 hour week • Undertake any other duties as requested by supervisor / Manager. • Must be reliable, a good team player. Flexible and the ability to work on own initiative. • Must have a good understanding of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood. Some heavy lifting involved.
