This will include the unloading of vehicles using appropriate handling equipment, checking goods received against documentation, transfer to the correct stocking point and accurate processing of system transactional data. 2. To manage the outbound shipment of finished goods, components and materials. Ensur goods are labelled and packaged to the required standard and checked for accuracy against relevant documentation. This will include the loading of vehicles using appropriate handling equipment and accurate processing of system transactional data. 3. Safely move materials and components to the correct storage and stocking locations using appropriate handling equipment. Observe correct safe handling techniques and practices and ensure necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times. 4. The Warehouse Operative position is to assist in the warehouse as required. Duties will include stickering/ de-stickering and picking and packing ready for dispatch. Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential. • The client will spend time training each individual into each position and therefore reliability is very important. • 2 x 30 minute breaks 1 is paid- total hours pay per day is 7.5 hrs.= 37.5 hour week • Undertake any other duties as requested by supervisor / Manager. • Must be reliable, a good team player. Flexible and the ability to work on own initiative. • Must have a good understanding of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood. Some heavy lifting involved. Nights Warehouse Supervisor Sunday - Thursday 8pm-6am Key Responsibilities: * Managing performance and continuously striving to improve * Ensure orders are picked quickly and efficiently * Checking orders thoroughly, to aim to eliminate all customer reported errors * Ensure orders are despatched and labelled, strapped, and put into the correct areas for loading * Carrying ut regular Stocktakes * Tidying, sweeping aisles, emptying bins etc * Reporting any/all near misses, accidents or maintenance issues * Completing all reports thoroughly and in a timely manner, including end of shift reports and weekly reports.
