The Best Connection are currently seeking production operatives to work for one of our clients based in Headcorn, Kent. Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:00 till 15:30 or 09:30-18:00. The pay rate for this job will be £12.21 per hour. Own transport is not essential due to this role being close to the local train station. This job will involve working at a fast but accurate pace pa king items that have already been picked into boxes ready to dispatch. You will need to complete the order sheets, create labels to place onto the orders. You will be using strapping machines to secure the boxes ready for despatch. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To manage the inbound receipt of goods and materials. This will include the unloading of vehicles using appropriate handling equipment, checking goods received against documentation, transfer to the correct stocking point and accurate processing of system transactional data. 2. To manage the outbound shipment of finished goods, components and materials. Ensur goods are labelled and packaged to the required standard and checked for accuracy against relevant documentation. This will include the loading of vehicles using appropriate handling equipment and accurate processing of system transactional data. 3. Safely move materials and components to the correct storage and stocking locations using appropriate handling equipment. Observe correct safe handling techniques and practices and ensure necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times. 4. Accurately record information and complete all necessary documentation in full. Ensure all required system transactions are performed accurately and in a timely manner. Raise any anomalies

The Warehouse Operative position is to assist in the warehouse as required. Duties will include stickering/ de-stickering and picking and packing ready for dispatch. Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential. • The client will spend time training each individual into each position and therefore reliability is very important. • 2 x 30 minute breaks 1 is paid- total hours pay per day is 7.5 hrs.= 37.5 hour week • Undertake any other duties as requested by supervisor / Manager. • Must be reliable, a good team player. Flexible and the ability to work on own initiative. • Must have a good understanding of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood. Some heavy lifting involved. Safety footwear and HI- VIS vest must be worn whilst on site. No mobile phones in the work area
