We are currently seeking Waste Attendant Operatives to work for one of our busy clients based around the South East of Kent. Candidates who wish to apply must be open to travel to at least 3 of the different sites listed below The job entails working within a team to help keep the site clean and tidy, assisting members of the public to unload heavy items and directing them to the correct are s of the sites, so customer service skills is a must. This will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions. Candidates who apply must be able to travel to at least, two different sites. Shifts times are: Monday - Saturday 08:00 - 16:30 with a 30 min break unpaid. Sunday 09:00-16:00 with a 30 min break unpaid. You will be working no more than 6 shifts per week with at least 2 days off. The role will entail: • General Haulage of recycled waste and recycled paper. • Delivering to Hubs in various locations. • The shifts are on average 12 hours long. • Full time or part time hours available. • Mainly a driving role including opening/ closing curtain and strapping of the load. A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: • Full Class 1 licence (Minimum 1 year’s recent driving experience). • Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card. • No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR). • Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving. • Good roadcraft/ Geographical knowledge. Shifts Available: • Monday to Friday starting at 18:00 hours. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To manage the inbound receipt of goods and materials. This will include the unloading of vehicles using appropriate handling equipment, checking goods received against documentation, transfer to the correct stocking point and accurate processing of system transactional data. 2. To manage the outbound shipment of finished goods, components and materials. Ensur goods are labelled and packaged to the required standard and checked for accuracy against relevant documentation. This will include the loading of vehicles using appropriate handling equipment and accurate processing of system transactional data. 3. Safely move materials and components to the correct storage and stocking locations using appropriate handling equipment. Observe correct safe handling techniques and practices and ensure necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times. 4. Accurately record information and complete all necessary documentation in full. Ensure all required system transactions are performed accurately and in a timely manner. Raise any anomalies

The Warehouse Operative position is to assist in the warehouse as required. Duties will include stickering/ de-stickering and picking and packing ready for dispatch. Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential. • The client will spend time training each individual into each position and therefore reliability is very important. • 2 x 30 minute breaks 1 is paid- total hours pay per day is 7.5 hrs.= 37.5 hour week • Undertake any other duties as requested by supervisor / Manager. • Must be reliable, a good team player. Flexible and the ability to work on own initiative. • Must have a good understanding of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood. Some heavy lifting involved.
