We are recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned global company for a CAD Layout Designer on a permanent basis. You will be working Monday-Friday 07.00-15.00. The company designs and delivers solutions for various industries including commercial and public buildings, healthcare, restaurants, marine vessels. Role Purpose To process approved drawings and produce detailed manufacturing layou s for CNC punching, brake press, and welding assembly processes, supporting efficient factory production. Key Responsibilities * Produce detailed sheet metal component drawings for product assembly * Programme and nest parts efficiently to minimise material waste * Use CAD and CNC software packages to create accurate layouts * Ensure all input data supports smooth folding and assembly processes * Collaborate with R&D on continuous improvement and new product development * Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve issues Candidate Profile * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks * Understanding of CNC
