MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To manage the inbound receipt of goods and materials. This will include the unloading of vehicles using appropriate handling equipment, checking goods received against documentation, transfer to the correct stocking point and accurate processing of system transactional data. 2. To manage the outbound shipment of finished goods, components and materials. Ensur goods are labelled and packaged to the required standard and checked for accuracy against relevant documentation. Safely move materials and components to the correct storage and stocking locations using appropriate handling equipment. The Warehouse Operative position is to assist in the warehouse as required. Duties will include stickering/ de-stickering and picking and packing ready for dispatch. Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential. • The client will spend time training each individual into each position and therefore reliability is very important. • 2 x 30 minute breaks 1 is paid- total hours pay per day is 7.5 hrs.= 37.5 hour week • Undertake any other duties as requested by supervisor / Manager. • Must be reliable, a good team player. Flexible and the ability to work on own initiative. • Must have a good understanding of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood. Some heavy lifting involved.
