We have been established in Hythe, Kent for over 50 years. Our core skills are in the manufacture of metal pressings, electrical busbars and CNC machining, supplying some of Europe’s largest manufacturers. We require a General Operator to work in our Press Shop operating a punch press. In the Press Shop you will be responsible for producing parts of good quality, whilst ensuring maximum targ ts are met. You will need to have a good eye for detail and be prepared to carry out manual handling tasks on a regular basis. Previous experience of working in a factory environment is desirable although full training will be given. Hours of work are 39 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm (with ½ hour unpaid lunches and 10-minute paid morning break) and Friday 8am to 1pm. This will initially be a 3-month contract.
