Purpose of the Role You will be responsible for providing advice, guidance and support on a wide range of legal matters to the various areas of the School and handling student complaint and discipl nary cases. You would be expected to cover legal issues including dispute resolution, legal agreements, intellectual property, equality and diversity, information management and defamation. Key Responsibilities: * Advise colleagues and students on how to resolve difficult and sometimes sensitive legal and regulatory problems. * Negotiating contracts and resolving contractual and other disputes. * Working with different areas of the School to try to ensure good and legally compliant working practices and addressing areas of risk. * Providing clear and concise advice under pressure and to tight deadlines. * Understanding the relevance of equality legislation and welfare issues
