A rare opportunity has arisen within a long established company based in Medway Towns for an Assembly Operative to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. You will ideally have some previous assembly/manufacturing experience and good dexterity/hand eye coordination as the role involves some hand soldering, however full training will be provided. You will also use small hand tools includi g band saws and the position involves some manual handling. In addition to this you will be numerate and literate as completion of job cards and recording data is required. The shifts can be flexible and you can work either of the following: * 06:00 - 14:00, Monday to Friday or * 08:15 - 17:30, Monday - Thursday and 08:15 - 13:30, Friday. * The hourly pay rate is £11.57 per hour Apply now if this is the role for you.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a large manufacturing company for an Entry Level Welder to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for welding, assembling, and fabricating metal components to create high-quality products. Ideally you will have some experience of MIG welding, Stick Welding and Fabrication and have some mechanical knowledge. You main duties will include: * Performing welding tasks using various techniques such as stick welding * Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings * Using hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal components * Inspecting welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments * Quality Control You will have a strong mechanical knowledge and an understanding of metal fabrication processes. The hours of work are 7am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime available at an enhanced rate.
