Are you a practical person with the skills to undertake various maintenance jobs around the school including painting and decorating, moving furniture, minor repairs and general DIY? The ideal candidate will be an important part of the school community, ensuring the smooth operat on of maintaining the site, including all aspects of statutory premises compliance. The successful candidate will manage the duties of, and work closely with the Assistant Caretaker. Applications are welcome from those able to mult-ask in a very busy school environment where two days are never the same. Previous experience of working within a school environment is desirable, but not essential. An understanding of Health and Safety is required. Training will be provided The role is a permanent position for 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, 10.30am – 6.30pm Monday to Thursday and 11.00am – 6.30pm on Fridays (half hour lunch included).
