CXK is a leading charity that empowers young people and adults to build the skills and the confidence they need to move into sustainable education, employment or training. Each year we make a difference to more than 70,000 people across the south-east by delivering inspiring and motivational programmes, including the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools and Colleges programme (ASK).
We are developing our work across the South of England transforming the way students think about apprenticeships and are currently recruiting a Contract Manager to join the ASK team.
As ASK Contract Manager, you will:
Manage in a designated area the delivery of the ASK programme with particular emphasis upon providing leadership, advice and guidance to supply chain partners and direct delivery staff, ensuring quality of operation and student/teacher/parent experience.
Undertake a small caseload of agreed delivery to extend reach and engagement of ASK within a designated area or to provide emergency cover.
Be accountable for meeting and exceeding outcomes for performance in your designated area, ensuring deadlines are met. Leading successful project delivery to ensure partners and direct delivery staff are assisting schools with their statutory duty to provide impartial careers advice and guidance to young people.
Ensure the supply chain partners and direct delivery staff provide schools with a bespoke package of comprehensive information about apprenticeships by delivering on their contract, making sure they are meeting CXK compliance and quality assurance standards.
Play a key role in defining the future Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge strategic direction through the ASK partners and their teams operating within schools, colleges and employer premises.
Work proactively with key partners and stakeholders promoting CXK across the region.
This role is home-based with regular travel across the South Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) areas: Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, East Anglia, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Hertfordshire, Essex.
