The Assessments Team in Registry Services at Canterbury Christ Church University is looking for a proactive administrator to join our fast-paced team. The role supports the delivery of exams and assessment administration for students across the University including those studying at our Partner Institutions.
This role offers the opportunity for candidates to spend some of their time working remotely. Attendance on campus will be a minimum of 2 days per week to ensure that the team has regular opportunities to work together on campus. Where there are in-person activities events or meetings that this post holder needs to support or engage with, the post holder will be required to attend campus for additional days with appropriate notice.
The Role
The Registry Administrator is an exciting role with a clear career progression route for aspiring and motivated individuals. The role holder will be responsible for delivering a range of exams and assessments administration activities and processes which are key to the progression and award of our students. The role requires excellent attention to detail to ensure that records are processed accurately, and that data can be relied upon. The role will also provide additional support to other Registry activities as required.
The Registry Administrator is expected to work collaboratively across the University, to develop a joined-up approach and to support business needs at key periods during the academic year.
The Person
The post holder will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum and must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Office. Prior experience of administrative support is essential. We would love to hear from you if you have:
A highly organised and methodical approach to work
Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
The ability to work on your own initiative and to work flexibly under pressure
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
