This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Research, Enterprise & Innovation (RE&I) Services, part of the University’s Research, Enterprise & Business Development Directorate. We are a dynamic team committed to supporting research excellence, knowledge mobilisation, and innovation across the University. Within RE&I Services, you will join the Capacity and Facilitation team, which leads the delivery of support and engagement services focusing on two core areas: (i) Capacity and Culture and (ii) Facilitation.
This is a varied role where you will manage or contribute to projects and activities aligned with the University’s Research, Enterprise & Innovation Implementation Strategies. As Research, Enterprise and Knowledge Mobilisation Facilitation Officer, you will work closely with the Facilitation Managers and academic staff to support key institutional processes including ethics and integrity, contracting, policy development, and post-award transition.
Key responsibilities
We are particularly seeking candidates with expertise and professional competencies to contribute to projects, activities and teams in at least two of the following areas:
Research and Enterprise Contracts
Research Ethics and Integrity (including policy development and review)
Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
Post-Award Transition and Reporting
As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of initiatives within the areas of Research, Enterprise, and Knowledge Mobilisation (REKM).
How will you work?
0.6 FTE/ 22 hours per week.
We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is Hybrid, Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken
