In this dynamic and people-focused role, you’ll design and deliver engaging, interactive activities that spark curiosity and open doors to higher education — particularly for students from underrepresented backgrounds. Whether you’re leading a lively workshop in a school, energising a campus visit, or representing CCCU at a bustling UCAS fair, you’ll be making university feel accessible, exciting, and achievable.
As part of our Student Recruitment and Outreach team, you’ll contribute directly to the goals of our Access and Participation Plan (APP) and champion CCCU’s undergraduate recruitment efforts. Every day will offer something new — opportunities to build relationships, create unforgettable experiences, and change lives.
What we’re looking for:
Experience working with young people in educational or outreach settings
Confidence in public speaking and delivering interactive sessions
A degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience), ideally with insight into barriers faced by underrepresented groups
A good understanding of the UK higher education landscape
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for student engagement
Familiarity with data recording and reporting systems (desirable but not essential)

How will you work?
We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is Flexible and connected (Professional Services). Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken. This could be in scholls and colleges or on campus delivering events to in the offcie working with the team.
