Overview
A fast-growing and modern accountancy firm is looking for a new Bookkeeper to join their team. This excellent firm supports thousands of businesses and individuals with a full range of accountancy, tax, payroll, advisory and financial planning services. They offer a collaborative and supportive office-based environment with genuine career progression.
This is a full-time role but 4 days per week can be considered. Hybrid working can occur after probation

Salary is up to circa £32,000. Higher salaries can be discussed if necessary but we encourage more junior applications to apply.
Duties
Bookkeeping duties for a range of clients
Liaising with clients to ensure records are complete and VAT returns are filed on time
Assisting with VAT returns
Bookkeeping to trial balance including bank reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
Preparing schedules and reports as required
Completing and filing VAT and CIS returns
Ensuring all client work is completed within applicable timescales
What we're looking for
A successful candidate would have some relevant experience in UK accountancy practice and live within a reasonable commute.
