We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated Learning Support Coordinator to join the Learning Support team at our Hadlow campus. This rewarding role will involve working closely with the Learning Support Manager to coordinate support for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a particular focus on those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will play a key role in ensuring statutory responsibilities are met, including coordinating annual reviews, managing consultations for prospective learners, and maintaining accurate and compliant records.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with learners, parents and carers, local authorities, curriculum teams and external agencies to ensure learners receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. You will contribute to the continuous development of inclusive practice across the College, provide guidance and support to Learning Support staff, undertake some line management responsibilities, and assist in developing support plans for learners with SEND who do not have an EHCP.

We are looking for a proactive and resilient individual with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a sound understanding of SEND legislation, EHCP processes and inclusive practice. You will be confident in managing competing priorities, handling sensitive information with professionalism, and building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Your hours: 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per annum

Your pay: £25,120.42 pro rata per annum + £4,687.61 holiday pay (£31,187 full-time equivalent)
