This is an exciting opportunity for you to help shape the next generation of police officers through high-quality policing education, at the interface of higher education and operational practice.

To be successful in this role, you will be a confident and adaptable educator with experience in teaching, learning support, assessment, and partnership working. You will contribute to the design, delivery, and ongoing development of the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA), with a strong focus on the initial foundation training periods.

You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment, build strong relationships with policing and Consortium colleagues, and demonstrate a clear commitment to inclusive practice, learner wellbeing, and professional standards.

You will be suitably qualified or equivalent, with experience in policing education, learning and teaching, or a related field. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders are essential.


How will you work?

Although fully employed by CCCU, the work of this post is primarily delivered within the Metropolitan Police Service area, particularly at Peel Training Centre, Hendon, and Middlesex University’s London campus. The role involves a rotating shift pattern aligned to operational training, with early and late shifts, and requires regular on-site working. You will be expected to travel to CCCU sites from time to time to attend departmental meetings and various events.
