Young Carers Project Worker Fixed term contract 30 hours per week Monday to Thursday, with flexibility for role £24,000 - £26,000 per annum FTE Pro rata, DOE and qualifications Based at Wateringbury with local Kent travel We are now looking for a Young Carers Project worker to work with our wonderful Young Carers service as part of a small team delivering varied activities for chi dren and young people. The role is initially for a fixed term period of 6 months - to start as soon as possible. The role Duties include managing, developing and delivering a programme of fun and interesting activities such as youth sessions, workshops, day trips, and up to three group nights a week as well as providing support and guidance, and acting as a positive role model through one to ones and mentoring. Group nights are held in Ditton, Sittingbourne and Maidstone. The main hours for this role will incorporate support at two clubs and will be worked as: Monday and Wednesday 12.00 to 7.00 pm, with Tuesday and Thursday working 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 pm.
